In today’s episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we journey through the Feast of Trumpets in our devotional segment, The Holy Spirit’s Water. First, we learn how this sacred Jewish festival was understood in ancient times. Then we explore how Jesus Christ fulfills this foreshadowing under the New Covenant, and how believers today are called to live with readiness, holiness, and joyful anticipation of His return.
In The Grind, we celebrate the birthdays of Dain, Amari, Sam, and Coach Ty, and recognize the tireless efforts of a man who wears many hats—including the hat of friend to the Superintendent. We also look ahead to final exams, awards, and the joyful conclusion of another year at BBA.
Finally, in The Add-Ins, we examine Indicator 2 of Standard 17 in Domain 5 of our accreditation framework. Coffee with the Superintendent is a podcast hosted by Dr. Jack Farmer, Superintendent of Berean Baptist Academy (BBA), created to engage the BBA community uniquely and personally. Each episode is divided into three segments: The Grind, The Holy Spirit’s Water, and The Add-Ins (for weekday episodes).
