In today’s episode of Coffee with the Superintendent (April 14, 2025), we open the Book of Leviticus to explore the Sin Offering—specifically the one commanded for the priests. Why did the law require the priest to offer for his own sin first? What does this teach us about our own need for cleansing and the holiness required to intercede for others? And how does this shadow find its fulfillment in the person and work of Jesus Christ?
We examine how the perfect sacrifice of Christ not only fulfilled the priestly sin offering but also elevated Him as our better, eternal High Priest. Through passages in Hebrews and the Gospels, we unpack the deep spiritual truth that Jesus not only made the offering—He became the offering.
We also celebrate birthdays, student theater performances, and afternoon athletic matchups in The Grind, and continue our ongoing discussion in The Add-Ins with a look at leadership responsibilities in the context of Christian school accreditation.
Join us as we sip, study, and seek to walk faithfully—together.
