On the day of President Carter's internment, Dr. Farmer remembers life during his presidency and one of his final speeches as President of the United States. In July 1979, President Carter warned against a Crisis of Confidence. Today, we see the same symptoms magnified, but the God that gave President Carter hope still provides hope to Christians. Embedded in this podcast is President Carter's voice and words reminding us that there are still things we must cling to as Americans, and while he was fighting for re-election and only alluded to God, Dr. Farmer reminds us that the chief person we must cling to is our Lord and the faith He secured.
